JBL Control SB2210 dual 10” compact subwoofer
The JBL Control SB2210 is a compact, high-output subwoofer featuring dual 10-inch woven fiberglass cone drivers designed for professional audio systems. It provides deep, accurate bass reinforcement down to 38 Hz, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor commercial installations, events, and landscape sound systems. Each driver incorporates long-excursion design, highly damped surrounds, linear suspension spiders, high-temperature anodized aluminum voice coil formers, and FEA-optimized motor structures for reliable, precise low-frequency performance.
Its enclosure is crafted from high-impact poly-styrene (HIPS) with 10% glass fill and reinforced internally with polyurethane, while the grille uses thermoset composite-coated steel with foam backing to withstand environmental exposure. The Control SB2210 achieves an IP-45 rating when used with the included MTC-PC2 terminal cover and meets Mil Spec 810 and 202F standards for humidity, salt spray, UV, and temperature resistance.
With 500 W continuous pink noise power handling (2000 W peak) and 1000 W continuous program, the subwoofer offers flexible connection via screw-down terminals compatible with bare wire or lugs. Optional MTC-SBT300 multi-tap transformer and MTC-210UB U-bracket provide additional installation versatility. Thirteen M6 insert points allow secure mounting on brackets or floor stands, making the SB2210 both versatile and durable for demanding applications.
