At its core is an 18-inch Differential Drive low-frequency transducer featuring a 3-inch voice coil design. The ferrite magnet structure reduces weight while increasing power handling and minimizing distortion, ensuring extended low-frequency response and tight, accurate bass reproduction. The system is powered by a Class D amplifier platform incorporating Crown DriveCore technology, delivering a 1000W peak power rating with exceptional efficiency and headroom. With a maximum SPL of 135 dB, the system provides substantial output for demanding sound reinforcement applications.

A powerful onboard 400MHz Sharc DSP engine provides full user-configurable control, including 20 parametric EQ filters, up to 2 seconds of delay, signal generators, input mixing, amplifier monitoring, and 50 user presets. Integrated JBL engineered application presets ensure optimized system tuning. Network integration via HiQnet allows simplified configuration and remote control through compatible applications.

The enclosure is constructed from 18 mm Duraflex-coated plywood for durability and acoustic stability. Ergonomic handles, M20 threaded pole mount, compatibility with the WK-4S caster kit, and an integrated LCD screen with glow-in-the-dark back panel labeling enhance usability and deployment efficiency.
