The Focal Sopra N°2 New Concrete is a high-end 3-way floor-standing loudspeaker designed to combine refined design with exceptional acoustic performance. Suitable for listening rooms up to 30 m² and capable of delivering impressive sound in larger spaces up to 70 m², this speaker provides immersive and detailed hi-fi sound comparable to the performance standards of Focal’s acclaimed Utopia range.

At the core of the Sopra N°2 are advanced drivers engineered for precise and transparent sound reproduction. Two 7″ (18 cm) W-cone woofers deliver deep, controlled bass with strong articulation and dynamic response. The 6.5″ (16.5 cm) W-cone midrange driver features TMD suspension and NIC motor technology, significantly reducing distortion while maintaining excellent midrange accuracy and natural tonal balance. High frequencies are reproduced by a precision 27 mm IHL Beryllium inverted dome tweeter, providing extended treble response and exceptional detail.

The cabinet design follows Focal’s Focus Time architecture, where the drivers are angled to align perfectly with the listening position. This design ensures optimal acoustic convergence and a precise, natural soundstage. The New Concrete finish adds a contemporary and architectural appearance, complementing modern interior spaces while highlighting the speaker’s premium craftsmanship.

A tempered glass base helps minimize vibration and improves structural stability, while visible decoupling spikes enhance isolation and secure placement. Magnetic front grilles provide practical protection without affecting acoustic performance.
