The KEF R2 Meta center speaker is a compact yet high-performance three-way loudspeaker designed to deliver precise, detailed, and balanced sound for home theater systems. Engineered with advanced technologies derived from KEF’s Reference series, it offers exceptional clarity and versatility, making it ideal for use in Left-Centre-Right configurations.

At its core is the 12th generation Uni-Q driver array, which combines a 25 mm aluminum dome tweeter with a 125 mm midrange driver in a concentric layout. This configuration allows the speaker to act as a single point source, improving sound dispersion and ensuring a wider listening sweet spot. The integration of Metamaterial Absorption Technology significantly reduces unwanted sound reflections, resulting in cleaner and more natural high-frequency reproduction.

The R2 Meta features two 5.25-inch hybrid aluminum bass drivers, designed to deliver tight, controlled, and accurate low-frequency performance. The closed-box enclosure enhances precision and responsiveness, making it suitable for dialogue clarity and dynamic sound reproduction in movies and music.

With a frequency range extending up to 50 kHz and a maximum output of 110 dB, the speaker provides detailed and dynamic audio performance. Its tonal characteristics are carefully matched to other R Series speakers, ensuring seamless integration within a multi-channel setup.
