The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova II is the junior floorstanding model in the Olympica Nova series, designed to deliver high-end acoustic performance in a more compact form. It carries forward Sonus Faber’s Italian design philosophy, blending artisanal craftsmanship with advanced acoustic engineering to create a speaker that emphasizes musical realism and emotional engagement.

The cabinet features an elegant curved form inspired by the shape of a lute, but with an asymmetrical geometry that improves room adaptability and reduces dependency on placement conditions. The absence of parallel or flat internal surfaces helps eliminate standing waves and internal resonances, resulting in cleaner sound reproduction.

Its enclosure is constructed using eight layers of natural wood, increasing rigidity and reducing vibration. The top panel and front baffle are also made from premium wood, complemented by an aluminum top insert that enhances structural stability and aesthetics. Internal bracing further strengthens the cabinet while improving damping characteristics.

The Stealth Ultraflex bass reflex system employs a vertical slotted port with a shaped aluminum element to control airflow. This design reduces turbulence and distortion, ensuring tight and accurate low-frequency performance.

The speaker uses a three-way driver configuration consisting of a 28 mm silk dome tweeter with a neodymium DAD motor system, a 6-inch midrange dome driver, and a 7.2-inch cellulose conical woofer. The crossover network operates between 250 Hz and 2,500 Hz, ensuring smooth transition across frequency bands.

A Paracross Topology crossover design minimizes noise, improves transient response, and enhances signal purity. High-quality components, including custom ClarityCap capacitors, contribute to refined tonal accuracy. The speaker also supports bi-wiring and bi-amping through four binding posts, allowing flexible system integration. Mounted on a solid aluminum base with steel spike cones, the Olympica Nova II delivers a natural, musical, and immersive listening experience.
