The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova Center Channel is part of the prestigious Olympica Nova series, engineered to deliver exceptional vocal clarity and precise sound localization for home theater systems. It is designed to reproduce dialogue and instrumental detail with natural tonality, ensuring a highly realistic and immersive cinematic experience.

The cabinet is constructed using eight layers of curved and shaped plywood, eliminating flat and parallel surfaces to reduce internal resonances and standing waves. This structural approach enhances acoustic purity while maintaining the signature asymmetrical lute-inspired design that Sonus Faber is known for. The organic cabinet geometry also allows flexible placement, enabling better bass tuning depending on room acoustics.

Inspired by natural fluid motion, the enclosure design follows smooth spiral-like curves that improve airflow behavior and contribute to a more refined acoustic response. The bass reflex system is fully integrated into the cabinet rather than added externally, resulting in improved speed, transparency, and controlled low-frequency performance.

The speaker features a three-way driver configuration with a 28 mm silk dome tweeter using DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology and a neodymium magnet system for precise high-frequency reproduction. The midrange driver is derived from the Homage Tradition series, using a cellulose-based composite cone for natural vocal reproduction. The woofer uses a cellulose and syntactic foam sandwich structure for improved rigidity and controlled bass output.

The crossover network is designed using Paracross Topology, which reduces sensitivity to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, improving signal purity and transient accuracy. Operating at crossover points of 250 Hz and 1550 Hz, it ensures smooth transition between frequency ranges.
