The Sonus Faber Lumina II Amator is a compact 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker developed to deliver precise, natural, and emotionally engaging sound in modern listening environments. Built on the Lumina platform, it enhances performance through upgraded crossover technology and refined acoustic tuning for improved clarity and coherence.

The high-frequency section features a 1-1/8-inch silk D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter, designed to produce smooth, extended, and detailed treble response with excellent control. A 6-inch paper cone woofer handles both midrange and bass duties, delivering natural vocal reproduction, balanced tonal output, and tight low-frequency performance.

An advanced IFF crossover network with a 2600 Hz crossover point improves phase alignment and reduces distortion, resulting in cleaner signal transition between drivers and a more coherent soundstage. This design approach enhances spatial accuracy and overall musical realism.

The cabinet is constructed using non-resonant multi-layer wood for structural stability and reduced vibration. The exterior is finished with a Wenge wood veneer combined with a synthetic leather wrap, giving it a refined and modern aesthetic while maintaining acoustic integrity.

With a frequency response of 55 Hz to 24,000 Hz, sensitivity of 86 dB, and recommended amplification between 30W and 150W, the Lumina II Amator delivers balanced performance suited for nearfield and small-to-medium room listening setups. Dual binding posts allow for bi-wiring or bi-amping configurations for enhanced system flexibility.
