The Monitor Audio Anthra W15 is the largest and most powerful model in the Anthra subwoofer series, engineered to deliver exceptionally deep, controlled, and dynamic bass performance for large-scale music and home cinema systems. Combining advanced acoustic technologies with extremely high amplifier power, the W15 is designed for listeners seeking immersive low-frequency reproduction with precision, authority, and minimal distortion.
At the heart of the Anthra W15 is a 15-inch Rigid Surface Technology II C-CAM high-excursion triple suspension driver developed to reproduce ultra-low frequencies with outstanding accuracy and control. The advanced RST II cone structure increases rigidity while minimizing resonance and unwanted vibration, ensuring clean and highly responsive bass output even during demanding playback conditions. Its triple suspension system maintains driver stability and linearity at high excursion levels for consistent performance.
The W15 is powered by a massively powerful 2500-Watt high-efficiency Class-D amplifier capable of delivering exceptional dynamic headroom and sustained low-frequency impact. Advanced 28-bit DSP processing allows detailed system optimization through the MaestroUnite platform, supporting adjustable low-pass filtering, configurable EQ presets, phase alignment, and multi-subwoofer integration.
A full-colour LCD display and rear rotary dial provide direct access to setup controls and EQ selection, while advanced DSP customization and connectivity management can be configured through the MaestroUnite application. The W15 can operate independently or be linked with up to three additional Anthra subwoofers for ultra-dynamic multi-subwoofer performance.
Its sealed-box cabinet uses heavily braced 25 mm MDF construction with a reinforced 36 mm front baffle to minimize cabinet resonance and maintain precise acoustic performance. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs provide flexible integration into high-performance stereo and home theater systems.
