Designed primarily to complement the CF230 speaker system, the ICS-8 integrates seamlessly into ceiling cavities, wall voids, and under-floor spaces, delivering deep and controlled bass response without the need for large visible enclosures.

At the core of the ICS-8 is a specially developed 20 cm long-throw bass driver featuring Monitor Audio’s renowned C-CAM cone technology. This advanced driver combines exceptional rigidity with low mass, ensuring accurate bass reproduction, excellent durability, and reduced distortion even at higher output levels. Mounted within a rigid MDF bandpass enclosure, the driver is angled internally to reduce overall cabinet height while maximizing installation flexibility.

The unique bandpass design enables the ICS-8 to produce the performance of a larger subwoofer through a discreet 120 mm vent opening. Delivering bass from 40 Hz to 120 Hz, it provides the depth and impact required for music and home entertainment systems while remaining virtually invisible within the installation environment.

Designed for pre-construction applications, the ICS-8 works with dedicated flush-fit pre-construction brackets that allow seamless integration into ceilings and walls. Round and square grille options match the visual appearance of compatible CF230 speakers, enabling installers to create complete audio systems with minimal visual impact. When painted to match surrounding surfaces, the system blends almost entirely into the architecture.

The ICS-8 can be combined with up to eight CF230 speakers and driven by compatible multi-channel amplifiers to create high-performance distributed audio systems.
