The Soundcraft Si 32-channel MADI and USB combo option card is designed for Si series consoles that need to run a digital stagebox and record a multitrack show at the same time. Fitting into the console’s ViSi Connect expansion slot, the card combines a 32-channel MADI interface with a 32-channel USB audio interface on a single card, removing the need to choose between stagebox connectivity and recording.

This dual functionality means engineers can capture a full multitrack recording of a live show directly to a connected computer while simultaneously receiving input channels from a MADI-connected stagebox, without swapping cards or sacrificing I/O elsewhere on the console. It is a common upgrade for Mini Stagebox systems, where the same card is used both to connect the stagebox and to enable recording.

Because the MADI and USB paths operate independently on the card, engineers retain full use of the console’s onboard channel count for live mixing while the USB side handles the recording feed, streamlining workflow for broadcast, archival, and virtual soundcheck applications.
