The Bose L1 Pro16 sits between the L1 Pro8 and L1 Pro32 in the L1 Pro family, balancing power and portability with a J-shaped articulated line array of sixteen 2 inch neodymium drivers. This delivers 180 degree horizontal sound coverage with extended output compared to the L1 Pro8, making it well suited to small-to-medium venues such as bars, clubs and larger stages that need more headroom than an entry-level portable PA can provide.

An integrated subwoofer built around a RaceTrack driver delivers extended low-frequency range without the bulk of a conventional round-driver enclosure, keeping the L1 Pro16’s power stand slim enough to carry easily and take up minimal space in a vehicle or on stage. The system assembles from a modular three-piece design: power stand, array extension and mid-high array, letting a single person go from vehicle to venue in one trip.

The built-in mixer offers the same feature set found across the L1 Pro range, with three channels and five inputs covering two combo XLR/quarter-inch phantom-powered connectors, quarter-inch and 3.5mm aux inputs, and Bluetooth streaming, all managed through illuminated rotary encoders. Selectable system EQ presets optimise the mix for live performance, recorded music or speech, and a dedicated ToneMatch port allows a T4S or T8S mixer to be added over a single cable.

Wireless control from the Bose Music app lets performers adjust volume, tone and reverb from their phone while walking the room, with the physical controls updating in real time to match. This EU-market unit ships configured for 230V power with an IEC cord and includes a carry bag for the array components, giving DJs, singer-songwriters and small ensembles expanded bandwidth and clarity in a system that remains genuinely portable.
