With the pure, uncoloured performance that is a hallmark of Genelec speakers, the G Two adapts to a room’s acoustics thanks to simple room compensation switches, allowing consistent, natural, truthful sound wherever it is placed.

The active design of the G Two removes the need for bulky external power amplifiers, since dedicated amplifiers for the woofer and tweeter are contained within the speaker cabinet itself. This gives high-quality internal amplification that is totally optimised for the drivers it feeds, allowing a sound source to be hooked up directly to the G Two for clean, uncompromised performance.

Genelec’s die-cast aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) and Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) technology, drawn directly from the company’s professional studio monitor range, minimize cabinet-edge diffraction and shape dispersion for a wide, accurate listening area. The raw finish leaves the natural cast aluminium visible, giving the G Two an industrial, unpainted look appreciated for its distinctive appearance.

With no energy lost in passive crossover filter components, the amplifier’s power output requirements are reduced considerably compared to a passive design, improving transient response and overall system efficiency. Rear-panel room compensation switches let the G Two be tailored for close-wall, corner or freestanding placement in a home environment.
