VSSL MS.1 network audio streamer
The VSSL MS.1 is a dedicated audio streamer that makes it easy to bring high-fidelity, multi-room sound into any room, whether in a home or business setting. As part of the VSSL MX Series, it pairs a high-performance multi-core DSP with a high-resolution DAC, supporting playback of 24-bit/192kHz hi-res audio for accurate, detailed sound reproduction from any connected source.
Connectivity is comprehensive, with HDMI eARC, optical, USB, analogue RCA, network and IR inputs, alongside optical, digital coax and analogue RCA outputs, giving integrators the flexibility to connect TVs, legacy sources and downstream amplification with minimal extra hardware. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth LE Audio with Auracast round out its wireless capability, ensuring compatibility with the latest mobile devices and headphones.
Native Streaming technology built into the MS.1 supports AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect directly from the source apps, without needing a separate third-party controller. The device can be powered flexibly via USB-C or Power over Ethernet, making it the industry’s first standalone PoE audio streamer and giving installers greater freedom in cable routing and mounting location.
Designed for professional installations, the MS.1 offers full driver support for leading control platforms including Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI, URC and Savant, and is managed day to day through the VSSL CNCT app. Housed in a compact 1U rack-space enclosure, it integrates cleanly into equipment racks or sits discreetly in a media cabinet for either residential or commercial deployments.
