The Eversolo DMP-A8 Gen 2 Master Edition is a premium all-in-one digital audio hub that combines a high-resolution network music streamer, DAC, digital transport, CD player and fully balanced analogue preamplifier, designed for advanced two-channel systems that demand the very best from the DMP-A8 platform.

Building on the standard DMP-A8 Gen 2, the Master Edition adds an upgraded OCXO and PLL clock architecture with a femtosecond system clock and a 10MHz external clock input, minimising timing errors for greater clarity, stability and spatial precision. A separated AK4191EQ digital processor and AK4499EXEQ DAC allow the digital processing and analogue conversion stages to be optimised independently, supporting native DSD512 and PCM playback up to 768kHz/32-bit.

A custom high-precision, ultra-quiet CD playback system is exclusive to the Master Edition, delivering original master-grade lossless disc playback and allowing a physical CD collection to sit alongside streamed and locally stored music within the same library. The chassis is slightly taller than the standard model, at 388 x 265 x 98.5mm, to accommodate the CD mechanism and upgraded clock circuitry.

Connectivity mirrors the wider Gen 2 platform, including SFP fibre networking, HDMI ARC, I2S and AES/EBU digital outputs, and a subwoofer output with adjustable crossover, while the fully balanced analogue preamplifier drives a power amplifier directly with XLR and RCA outputs. Combined with Eversolo’s optimised library system and control app, the Master Edition is built for listeners who want to consolidate an entire source rack, disc player included, into one advanced chassis.
