The Eversolo AMP-F8 is a high-performance Class AB power amplifier designed for high-fidelity audio systems, marking Eversolo’s first serious move into pure amplification alongside its established streaming and DAC products. Built with generous power reserves, it delivers 2 x 180W RMS into 8 ohms and 2 x 280W RMS into 4 ohms in normal stereo operation, or up to 500W RMS into 8 ohms when bridged into mono mode.

At the core of the design sits a custom 800W toroidal linear power supply with independent channels to minimise crosstalk and support stable imaging, feeding three pairs of precision matched MOSFET output devices per channel in a Class AB topology with Class A bias on the first few watts. An array of 24 custom audio-grade filter capacitors reduces power-supply ripple and supports rapid transient current response, while an integrated DC-blocking circuit suppresses the influence of DC offset on the toroidal transformer.

Measured performance is strong for the category: total harmonic distortion of just 0.003% at 1kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio of 115dB A-weighted, a damping factor exceeding 400 at 8 ohms, and channel crosstalk kept below -95dB at 180W into 8 ohms. Frequency response extends from 10Hz to 30kHz within ±0.5dB at 1W into 8 ohms.

Connectivity is deliberately simple for a dedicated power amplifier: one balanced XLR input and one unbalanced RCA input, each with 10kΩ input impedance and switchable gain settings to match a wide range of preamplifiers and sources. A 12V trigger input and output support system-wide power sequencing, and a bridge-mode switch converts the AMP-F8 into a 500W mono power amplifier, giving owners a clear upgrade path to a monoblock pair. A CNC-machined, anodized aluminium unibody chassis with classic analogue VU meters completes a design built to pair naturally with the Eversolo DMP-A8 Gen 2 or any preamplifier with RCA or XLR outputs.
