The KEF Ci130CS architectural speaker is designed for permanent installation where audio equipment needs to integrate with the room's surfaces. Its square front profile provides a defined visible outline, while the main speaker assembly fits behind the mounting surface. This arrangement allows the sound system to become part of the interior layout without occupying furniture or floor space.

The driver configuration combines a 130 mm low-frequency unit with a 19 mm high-frequency unit. The specified open-backed frequency response is 52 Hz–20 kHz at a ±6 dB tolerance, with a crossover frequency of 4 kHz. A nominal impedance of 8 ohms and sensitivity of 87 dB at 2.83V/1m provide useful reference points for matching the speaker to the intended amplification. Recommended amplifier power is 10–80W.

The Ultra Thin Bezel design narrows the visible border around the speaker. Its magnetic grille and paintable visible surfaces support integration with the surrounding decor. An asymmetrical tweeter island and aluminium dome tweeter with a tangerine waveguide form part of the C Series driver arrangement, supporting useful off-axis reproduction within the installed listening area.

The external dimensions are 184 × 184 × 83 mm, with a required cut-out of 158 × 158 mm. Mounting depth from the finished surface is 77.1 mm, so the available cavity space should be considered alongside the visible opening. These dimensions distinguish the complete speaker assembly from the opening needed to install it. A net weight of 1.35 kg completes the mechanical specification, helping the installation plan account for the speaker's physical requirements as well as its acoustic role.
