KEF SR6Q 6.5″ Uni-Q Outdoor Landscape Satellite Speakers (4pcs)

KEF SR6Q Uni-Q Outdoor Satellite Speakers

The KEF SR6Q outdoor satellite speakers provide compact sound sources for a distributed landscape installation. Each speaker combines a 160 mm Uni-Q midrange and low-frequency driver with a 19 mm tweeter. The concentric arrangement keeps the frequency ranges closely aligned, supporting music reproduction across the outdoor listening area without requiring a large enclosure at every position.

The specified frequency response is 101 Hz–20 kHz at ±6 dB, with sensitivity of 88 dB at 2.83V/1m. Each satellite has a nominal impedance of 16 ohms, and the crossover frequency is 2.4 kHz. These specifications distinguish the individual speaker's electrical characteristics from the combined load presented by a group of speakers in the installation.

A KEF Network DSP Amplifier is required. Recommended amplifier power is 240W for four speakers connected in parallel, so that figure applies to the stated group arrangement rather than to a single satellite. Planning the speaker grouping together with amplification helps the distributed system operate as intended across the selected outdoor positions.

Ground stakes and wall brackets provide alternative mounting methods. The speaker can therefore be placed within landscaping or attached to a suitable structure, depending on the layout. Each enclosure measures 204 × 204 × 220 mm without its mount and weighs 3.5 kg. With the wall bracket and knobs, dimensions are 277 × 204 × 287 mm. The compact format and choice of mounting arrangements allow the main sound sources to follow the areas where people sit, gather and move through the outdoor space. This provides several compact sound positions within one coordinated outdoor installation.
