KEF KASA 8-150M 8-Channel Network DSP Amplifier
The KEF KASA 8-150M Network DSP Amplifier provides 8 amplifier channels for a configured installation audio system. Its Class D design uses an advanced GaN FET output stage, combining a dedicated amplification platform with network DSP capability. This arrangement allows the amplifier to form part of a system in which speaker loading, processing and output configuration are planned together.
With a single channel driven, output is rated at 150W into 4 ohms and 75W into 8 ohms, measured at 1 percent total harmonic distortion. Maximum output with all channels driven is specified as 135W per channel into 4 ohms. Keeping these operating conditions separate provides a clear basis for understanding the available output across different system configurations.
Bridge operation is rated at 300W into 4 ohms or 8 ohms, also at 1 percent total harmonic distortion. This gives the installation an additional output configuration when the connected speaker load and channel arrangement suit bridge operation. The frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz at -0.5 dB into 4 ohms, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 95 dB.
Silent passive cooling supports installations where mechanical fan noise would be undesirable. The enclosure measures 88 mm high, 427 mm wide and 398 mm deep, and weighs 8.2 kg. These dimensions provide a physical reference for equipment placement and system planning. By combining multiple operating modes with network DSP and a defined set of load-specific power ratings, the KASA 8-150M supplies a flexible amplification component for a carefully designed installed speaker system. The separate channel ratings support clear amplifier and speaker matching.
