The VPL-XW6100ES uses three 0.61 inch SXRD panels to display a native 3840 × 2160 image. Its laser diode light source provides 2,700 lumens of light output, supporting large screen projection with detailed textures and clearly defined picture elements.

The XR Processor for projector combines XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, XR Deep Black, XR Triluminos Pro and XR Clear Image. The Advanced Crisp Focused lens uses a 70 mm aspherical front element and floating focus to maintain detail across the screen.

HDR10 and HLG compatibility allow the projector to accept supported high dynamic range sources. Motionflow processing provides motion handling options for moving images. Two HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.3 accommodate compatible video equipment, supporting home cinema integration.

Powered focus, zoom and lens shift support installation adjustment, while Picture Position memory recalls lens settings. The specified throw ratio helps installers plan projector distance for the screen. Ethernet and RS 232C connections support integration with external control systems. The black cabinet provides a distinct finish for the installation. Compatible gaming sources can supply 4K video at 120 Hz through HDMI, with Auto Low Latency Mode available.
