The Bose DesignMax DM8C-SUB is a passive, 8 inch in-ceiling subwoofer purpose-built to add rich low-end performance to commercial sound installations that already use in-ceiling DesignMax speakers. Delivering 180W of long-term power handling, the DM8C-SUB is the entry point of the three-model DesignMax subwoofer range, sized for spaces that need meaningful bass extension without a large-format subwoofer.

Frequency range extends from 38Hz to 155Hz, giving the DM8C-SUB enough low-frequency reach to complement background and foreground music systems in retail, hospitality and corporate ceilings. Integrated QuickHold mounting arms simplify installation, letting technicians secure the subwoofer into a ceiling cutout quickly and reliably without extra bracket hardware.

As the smallest of the three DesignMax subwoofer options, alongside the 300W surface-mounted DM10S-SUB and 300W pendant DM10P-SUB, the DM8C-SUB is well suited to smaller rooms or zones where discreet, in-ceiling bass reinforcement is preferred over a visible surface-mounted or pendant enclosure.

Finished in white to blend into a standard ceiling tile grid, the DM8C-SUB rounds out the DesignMax family of 16 loudspeaker models, giving system integrators a complete, tonally consistent product line to specify for any commercial sound installation that needs coordinated in-ceiling coverage plus bass.
