The Canton Reference 5 GS Sand is a finely tuned special edition of the Reference 5, engineered for music enthusiasts seeking an elevated listening experience. Its elegantly rounded, edge-free cabinet is milled with precision on a 5-axis CNC machine, ensuring low-resonance performance, uniform dispersion, and a modern, luxurious Sand finish.

This special edition features a diamond-coated DLC tweeter from the Reference Alpha series for exceptionally clear, airy, and spatially precise high frequencies. The tweeter is complemented by a waveguide sound lens that enhances efficiency and extends bandwidth, creating a detailed and immersive soundstage.

The BCT midrange and dual 174 mm woofers deliver accurate midrange and deep, controlled bass. The fully redesigned high-end crossover uses selected Mundorf MKP capacitors for minimal losses, stable phase behavior, and precise sound reproduction. Integrated Room Compensation (RC) allows adjustment of midrange and tweeter levels in 1.5 dB increments for perfect tuning to room acoustics and personal preference.

High-quality WBT Nextgen terminals with gold plating support single, bi-wiring, and bi-amping. Gold-plated copper bridges are included for conventional operation. The rounded enclosure, elaborately curved sides, base, and top ensure both stability and refined acoustic performance. The Reference 5 GS combines state-of-the-art technology, premium craftsmanship, and a striking Sand finish for a harmonious balance of sound and design.
