The Reference Sub White Matt is designed to extend the performance of Canton Reference loudspeakers with powerful and precise low-frequency reproduction. This active front-firing subwoofer is engineered to support both stereo and home cinema systems, delivering impactful bass through a large enclosure volume and an integrated downfire passive cone. Its precise tuning ensures controlled performance across demanding music and film soundtracks.

The subwoofer is equipped with a 308 mm BCT driver featuring a black ceramic tungsten cone. This driver is supported by a large passive radiator positioned on the underside of the enclosure, allowing efficient air movement and extended bass depth. The chassis uses the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, enabling increased excursion while reducing distortion at higher volume levels. These design elements work together to provide accurate and powerful bass reproduction.

A high-performance digital amplifier delivers up to 750 watts of output, providing the energy required for intense bass passages. Integrated DSP processing and SC technology ensure precise low-frequency control and accurate reproduction down to 18 hertz. Room compensation technology allows the bass response to be adjusted in multiple stages, helping the subwoofer adapt to different room acoustics.

The sweeping enclosure design aligns visually with the Reference series while contributing to acoustic stability. High-quality manufacturing and rigid construction help minimize unwanted vibrations. The Reference Sub White Matt includes high-level and low-level inputs for flexible connectivity, along with rear-mounted controls for volume, crossover frequency, and phase adjustment. An automatic power on and off function completes the technical configuration of this active subwoofer.
