As a fully active two-way bass-reflex system, the Smart Townus 2 integrates a 350-watt Class D amplifier, eliminating the need for external amplifiers or speaker cables. Its compact design houses a 154 mm titanium cone woofer with wave surround for precise, deep bass and neutral midrange, paired with a 25 mm aluminium oxide ceramic dome tweeter for clear and detailed highs. The 24-bit wireless signal transmission between speakers ensures high-fidelity music reproduction without compromise.

The cabinet is carefully engineered with damping material, solid construction, and screwless Diamond-Cut aluminium driver rings, minimizing resonance and edge diffraction for a stable, spatially accurate soundstage. The magnetically attached full-size fabric cover adds elegance while maintaining acoustic transparency.

Connectivity options include high-quality analog XLR and RCA inputs, optical and coaxial digital inputs, a USB-XMOS interface for computer audio, and Bluetooth with aptX for wireless streaming.
