As a fully active two-way bass-reflex system, the Smart Townus 2 includes a 350-watt Class D amplifier, removing the need for external amplifiers or speaker cables. The compact design houses a 154 mm titanium cone woofer with wave surround for deep, precise bass and neutral mids, paired with a 25 mm aluminium oxide ceramic dome tweeter for clear and detailed high frequencies. The 24-bit wireless signal transmission between speakers ensures high-fidelity music reproduction without compromise.

The enclosure is carefully engineered with damping material, a solid build, and screwless Diamond-Cut aluminium driver rings, reducing resonance and edge diffraction for accurate, spatially stable sound. The magnetically attached full-size fabric cover complements the cabinet’s refined look while remaining acoustically transparent.

Connectivity options are versatile, including analog XLR and RCA inputs, optical and coaxial digital inputs, a USB-XMOS interface for computer audio, and Bluetooth with aptX for wireless streaming.
