The CT16S is a professional-grade amplifier switcher designed for critical public address and installed audio systems where uninterrupted operation is essential. It provides continuous monitoring of multiple amplifier channels and ensures system reliability by automatically managing failover between primary and backup amplifiers.

The unit supports 16 primary amplifier inputs, 16 backup amplifier inputs, and 16 outputs, allowing flexible system design and redundancy configuration. It is capable of handling up to 2 amps continuous current per channel, supporting power levels up to 1000W per channel depending on system configuration.

In the event of a failure on any primary amplifier channel, the CT16S automatically reroutes the affected channel to an available backup amplifier. Once the original amplifier is restored and functioning normally, the system automatically switches back to the primary channel without manual intervention. All switching activity and fault conditions are reported to connected management software for system tracking and diagnostics.

The CT16S supports backup configurations ranging from 16:1 to 1:1, with the exact ratio determined by the control system in use. It also includes 16 control inputs and 5 control outputs through programmable GPIOs, enabling integration with external systems such as emergency alarms and fire safety contacts.

For enhanced flexibility, the unit includes Ethernet connectivity for configuration and remote management. Its universal power supply ensures compatibility with a wide range of installation environments, making it suitable for large-scale professional audio distribution systems requiring high reliability and automated redundancy.
