The Focal 100 OD8 is designed to bring high-quality hi-fi sound to outdoor spaces, combining Focal’s expertise in acoustics with robust, weather-resistant construction. It features an 8″ (210 mm) waterproof woofer with Polyglass treatment and an aluminum inverted dome tweeter, delivering clear, well-defined audio with excellent dispersion. Compared to the 100 OD6, the 100 OD8 provides higher efficiency and better power handling, making it ideal for demanding outdoor installations.

The speaker offers a frequency response of 60 Hz – 23 kHz, with a low-frequency cutoff at 45 Hz (-6 dB), ensuring dynamic, detailed sound with deep bass and crisp highs. With a sensitivity of 88 dB and a recommended amplifier range of 20–150 W, it is compatible with most amplifiers. Its nominal impedance of 8 Ω also allows connecting additional speakers to the same amplifier channel.

For easy installation, the 100 OD8 includes a 180° rotatable mounting bracket for flexible placement. Its IP66 certification, anti-UV treatment, and durable cabinet make it fully resistant to rain, dust, and extreme temperatures. The ready-to-paint grille and cabinet, available in black or white, allow the speaker to blend discreetly into outdoor settings.
