The Focal Kanta N°1 bookshelf loudspeaker combines modern, compact aesthetics with high-fidelity sound performance, making it ideal for a variety of spaces, whether placed on furniture or stands. It integrates dual Flax midbass drivers with TMD suspension and a 27 mm (11/16″) IAL3 pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter, producing detailed midrange, refined highs, and a warm, musical tonal balance.

This model introduces the line’s first combination of a Flax (French linen) cone driver with a Beryllium tweeter, delivering exceptional clarity, precision, and treble finesse. The 2-way bass-reflex design provides a frequency response from 46 Hz to 40 kHz (+/-3 dB), sensitivity of 88 dB, and accommodates amplifiers rated 25–150 W, with nominal impedance of 8 Ω.

The Kanta N°1 features Focal’s Focus Time driver alignment, ensuring all drivers are positioned at ear level for optimal listening. Its modern design is enhanced by matte front panels (Black, White, or Ivory) paired with Black High Gloss, White High Gloss, or Walnut High Gloss cabinets. Additional design details include a molded wood rear shell, Zamak base, glass plate, and discreet magnetic fabric holders. Optional height-adjustable stands in matt black aluminum help decouple vibrations for improved stability and performance.
