The Honeywell Genesis 7580g Area-Imaging Scanner is the world’s first presentation scanner designed to decode all standard 1D, PDF, and 2D barcodes, providing high-speed scanning and enhanced productivity across retail, healthcare, and manufacturing environments. Powered by Adaptus™ imaging technology, the Genesis 7580g excels at reading barcodes on mobile devices and reflective surfaces, reducing the need for additional specialized hardware while maintaining fast and accurate data capture.
The scanner features patented CodeGate™ technology and an activation button for targeted scanning applications, along with automatic cable detection and configuration to simplify migration to new interfaces. Additional technologies, including Shielded LEDs, CodeSelect™, and TotalFreedom™, enhance user experience by minimizing disruptive flashing, allowing multiple barcodes to be captured in a single flash, and supporting plug-ins for new or proprietary symbologies. Remote MasterMind™ management software allows IT administrators to configure and monitor scanners remotely, further improving operational efficiency.
