Control 227CT is a premium in-ceiling professional loudspeaker designed for installations that require superior sound quality combined with distributed audio system compatibility. The loudspeaker features a coaxial design incorporating a Kevlar-reinforced 165 mm (6.5 inch) low-frequency woofer and a 25 mm compression driver. This configuration provides efficient acoustic coupling between frequency bands, resulting in clear speech reproduction, articulate vocals, and extended frequency response suitable for music playback. The compression driver enhances sensitivity and projection while maintaining controlled directivity.

Control 227CT delivers a consistent 120-degree conical coverage pattern, ensuring uniform sound levels across the listening area. This constant-directivity performance minimizes coverage gaps and reduces the need for excessive loudspeaker density. An advanced high-slope crossover network supports smooth midrange transition and maintains tonal balance at varying volume levels.
