The JBL Control 440CS/T, part of the flagship Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, is a high-power in-ceiling subwoofer designed for low-distortion, warm, and smooth bass reproduction. It features an 8-inch treated paper cone woofer with SBR surround, built-in passive crossover, and a reinforced enclosure with large tapered dual ports for optimum low-frequency performance. The subwoofer supports both 70V/100V multi-tap transformer connections and 8-ohm direct input, making it versatile for use in subwoofer-satellite systems or standalone low-frequency applications. Installation is simplified with top and side cable entry options, captive dogears suitable for a wide range of ceiling thicknesses, and paintable full-face magnetic grilles for seamless integration with modern interiors. Optional black or square grilles enhance design flexibility.
