The JBL Control 445C/T, part of the flagship Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, is a two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker featuring a 5.25-inch (130 mm) woofer and 20 mm (0.75 in) soft-dome tweeter. Designed with an integrated enclosure, it fits most ceiling plenum spaces while delivering clear, full-range audio. JBL’s proprietary conical Radiation Boundary Integrator® (RBI™) technology ensures smooth, consistent sound across a wide coverage area, minimizing on-axis hot spots and off-axis cold spots. The Control 445C/T supports 70V/100V transformer taps and low-impedance 8-ohm direct input. Its redesigned terminal covers allow for top or side cable entry, and the reliable captive dogear design accommodates a wide range of ceiling thicknesses for efficient and repeatable installation. The included white full-face magnetic grille is paintable for seamless integration, while optional black and square grilles enhance aesthetic versatility.
