The CSS-15C-VA 5 in. Ceiling Loudspeaker is a full-range, EN54-24 certified ceiling speaker engineered specifically for life-safety, evacuation, and public address applications requiring strict regulatory compliance. Designed around a 127 mm (5 inch) full-range dual-cone driver, this system is optimized to deliver clear, intelligible speech reproduction in emergency communication environments where reliability and clarity are critical.
The speaker is torsion-mounted into an integrated metal fire dome backcan that supports easy blind-mount installation, providing both mechanical stability and fire protection. The CSS-15C-VA 5 in. Ceiling Loudspeaker is fully compliant with EN54-24 standards and BS5839-8 regulations, making it suitable for certified evacuation systems, fire alarm voice evacuation systems, and life-safety installations in commercial and public buildings.
Operating on 100V distributed speaker lines, the built-in multi-tap transformer offers selectable 6W, 3W, and 1.5W power settings, allowing flexible system design and precise sound level control across zones. The wide 120° conical coverage pattern ensures consistent audio dispersion, improving speech intelligibility across large areas while minimizing dead zones.
