The JBL LCT 81C/TM is a full-range ceiling loudspeaker engineered for direct lay-in installation into 600 mm x 600 mm metric suspended ceiling grids, eliminating the need for tile cutting and reducing installation time and mess. Its ultra-slim profile of just 103 mm allows it to fit easily into shallow ceiling spaces or areas with obstructions where deeper loudspeakers are not practical.

Designed for clear voice reinforcement and light-to-medium background music, the JBL LCT 81C/TM is well suited for classrooms, offices, retail environments, airports, reception areas, meeting rooms, courtrooms, and similar commercial applications. The system uses a high-efficiency 200 mm dual-cone driver with a Kapton former and high-temperature voice coil wire to ensure reliable performance and consistent sound quality over extended operation.

With very high sensitivity, the loudspeaker delivers strong sound output even at lower power tap settings, making it ideal for distributed audio systems. It supports both 70V and 100V operation through a built-in multi-tap transformer, as well as 8-ohm low-impedance operation for direct amplifier connection.
