The JBL VRX915S 15 in. Bass Reflex Subwoofer is a compact, high-power, suspendable low-frequency system engineered for professional sound reinforcement applications. Designed to integrate seamlessly with VRX line arrays and full-range systems, this front-loaded, vented enclosure delivers extended bass response in a lightweight and highly manageable format.
At the core of the system is a JBL 2265G-1 15-inch Differential Drive woofer featuring a neodymium magnet structure and patented dual voice coil design. This advanced configuration enhances thermal efficiency, increases power handling capacity, and reduces overall system weight while maintaining low distortion and strong low-frequency output. The bass reflex design optimizes airflow and low-frequency extension, providing solid, controlled performance down to 35 Hz.
The enclosure is constructed from 15 mm to 18 mm multi-ply birch plywood and finished in durable black DuraFlex coating for touring-grade reliability. A powder-coated 16-gauge perforated steel grille with acoustically transparent foam backing protects internal components while maintaining acoustic integrity.
For flexible deployment, the VRX915S includes integrated rigging hardware for simple connection to VRX915S line arrays and optional array frames. Eight M10 suspension points support flown configurations, while a top-mounted M20 threaded pole socket allows secure mounting of satellite speakers. Compact dimensions and manageable weight make it suitable for live performance systems, mobile and fixed DJ setups, rental and touring applications, and permanent installations.
