The RCF BM 3804FM is a wall-mount emergency microphone console dedicated to the DXT 3000 voice alarm system. It provides a local position for live announcements and activation of recorded messages, with system-status indications and self-diagnostic functions supporting the supervised paging arrangement.

The microphone uses a dynamic omnidirectional capsule. A handheld microphone with a push-to-talk button provides the speaking interface, allowing the operator to activate the microphone for the required announcement.

Up to four microphones or consoles can be daisy-chained on the line. The first unit provides emergency functions and is powered by the master unit, while the other units require local 24 V DC adapters. This power relationship should be included when planning the complete paging-line arrangement.

The product is certified to EN 54-16 and includes the monitoring functions specified for its compatible voice alarm system. Its metal construction provides a dedicated housing for the microphone and control electronics. The supported calling functions and connection arrangement should be configured as part of the complete system design, using the instructions for the selected model.

The console measures 360 mm high, 360 mm wide and 129 mm deep and weighs 6.9 kg. RJ45 connections provide the specified system interface. The physical position, cable route and access to the microphone controls should be considered together when establishing the announcement point within the installation. The selected assembly should account for the dimensions of the accessory and the position of the supported equipment.
