RCF MXR 4500/2 500W 2-Zone Voice Alarm Master
The RCF MXR 4500/2 is an amplified master unit for the DXT 4000 voice alarm system, providing 500 W of total power and 2 independently controlled zones. It is designed for small and medium installations that need coordinated emergency announcements and background audio within a defined voice alarm architecture.
The integrated Class D amplification platform works with onboard digital signal processing to optimize environmental equalization and speech intelligibility. A spare-amplifier facility supports the planned system configuration. Emergency messages are held on a monitored SD card, while the front-panel audio source provides additional programme playback for everyday operation.
The unit is certified to EN 54-16, and its internal power supply is certified to EN 54-4. The complete installation combines the master unit with suitable loudspeaker lines, emergency controls and the required backup-power arrangement. Configuration and connection methods should follow the instructions for the exact master-unit version and its intended system.
Rack mounting uses a 19-inch, 4U enclosure. An IE 3008 interlink board is included, allowing up to eight units to operate in a master-slave configuration. This expands the system architecture while retaining a dedicated control relationship between the connected units and the supported audio and command paths.
Compatible microphone consoles include BM 3804, BM 3804FM and ME 3801, with BE 3806 extensions available for zone controls. The unit measures 178 mm high, 482 mm wide and 426 mm deep. Its black – ral 9005 enclosure provides the physical format for the selected 2-zone system configuration. The selected assembly should account for the dimensions of the accessory and the position of the supported equipment. Use the documented attachment sequence when establishing the final relationship between the connected components.
