The Sonus Faber Lumina III is the smaller tower model in the Lumina series, designed to deliver a refined, natural, and engaging listening experience in a compact floorstanding form. It uses a 3-way design that combines musicality, clarity, and controlled bass performance with easy placement flexibility for most room environments.

At the top end, a 1-1/8-inch silk D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter provides smooth, detailed, and extended high-frequency response. A 6-inch paper cone midrange driver, also used in higher Sonetto models, ensures natural vocal reproduction and precise instrument separation. Dual 6-inch paper cone woofers handle low frequencies, delivering fast, tight bass response with excellent control.

The speaker features Sonus Faber’s Paracross Topology crossover design, originally developed for reference models. By positioning key reactive components on the negative rail, this approach reduces electromagnetic interference and results in cleaner signal transmission, improved clarity, and better overall sound definition.

The cabinet is constructed using multi-layer wood and MDF materials with a leather-wrapped exterior, designed to reduce resonance and enhance structural rigidity. The Wenge finish provides a deep, elegant appearance that complements modern interiors while maintaining acoustic performance integrity.

A downward-firing Stealth Port system improves bass performance and allows flexible placement, especially closer to walls where the speaker performs optimally. The included spike kit lifts the cabinet for proper airflow and stability, while protective cups support use on hard floors.

With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 24,000 Hz, sensitivity of 89 dB, and amplifier compatibility from 50W to 250W, the Lumina III delivers fast, controlled bass, smooth mids, and detailed highs. It is designed for easy integration in both stereo and compact high-performance audio systems.
