The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova Center Channel is part of the refined Olympica Nova series, engineered to deliver accurate dialogue reproduction and seamless integration in high-performance home theater systems. It reflects Sonus Faber’s Italian heritage, combining handcrafted cabinet construction with modern acoustic engineering to achieve a natural, transparent, and emotionally engaging sound experience.

The enclosure is built from eight layers of carefully shaped and curved plywood, eliminating flat and parallel surfaces to reduce internal reflections, standing waves, and resonances. This design approach improves overall clarity and ensures more precise sound reproduction while preserving the distinctive asymmetrical lute-inspired form of the Olympica series.

Its cabinet structure follows smooth, organic curves inspired by natural spiral motion, enhancing acoustic efficiency and airflow behavior. The bass reflex system is fully integrated into the enclosure rather than added externally, allowing faster response, reduced turbulence, and improved sound transparency.

The speaker features a 2-way driver configuration with a 28 mm silk dome tweeter using DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology and a neodymium magnetic motor for accurate high-frequency reproduction. The 5.9-inch woofer uses a cellulose cone construction, delivering natural midrange performance with controlled and well-defined bass response.

A Paracross Topology crossover network is used to reduce sensitivity to radio frequency interference and ensure smooth signal distribution. With a crossover point set at 1550 Hz, it provides seamless integration between drivers for balanced and coherent sound output.
