It reflects Sonus Faber’s Italian heritage by combining traditional handcrafted woodworking techniques with modern acoustic engineering, producing a natural, detailed, and immersive listening experience for both music and home theater applications.

The enclosure is constructed using eight layers of carefully shaped and bent plywood, eliminating flat and parallel internal surfaces to reduce standing waves and internal resonances. This structural approach enhances clarity, accuracy, and overall sonic transparency while maintaining the elegant aesthetic identity of the Olympica series.

A key acoustic element is the Stealth Ultraflex phason port, precision-machined from aluminum, which improves airflow control and reduces turbulence for cleaner and more defined bass performance. The design also incorporates aluminum structural elements and steel spike-supported isolation for enhanced stability and reduced vibration effects.

The driver system includes a 28 mm silk dome tweeter with DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology and a neodymium magnetic motor for precise and smooth high-frequency response. The 6-inch mid-woofer uses a cellulose-based cone reinforced with syntactic foam between cellulose layers, providing improved rigidity, reduced distortion, and controlled midrange and bass output.
