VSSL A.6x six-zone streaming amplifier

The VSSL A.6x provides audio streaming for up to six zones or rooms, giving users the freedom to use any app on any device to play any audio within those six zones. Six different users can play six different songs simultaneously, or the same track can be shared across every zone at once for whole-home listening.

Twelve channels of Class D amplification deliver 50W per channel at both 4 and 8 ohms, driven through a comprehensive matrixed I/O configuration with six matrixed analogue inputs, one optical input, one IR input and one network input, plus six matrixed analogue outputs and a network output for flexible system integration.

A 7-band adjustable EQ, signal-to-noise ratio greater than 101dB, and frequency response of 20Hz to 50kHz ensure consistent, high-quality sound reproduction across all six zones. Wireless streaming is handled through AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect and Alexa Cast, giving each zone independent access to popular streaming services without extra hardware.

Housed in a rack-mountable 2U enclosure with 115-230VAC auto-switching power for worldwide compatibility, the A.6x is designed for larger residential or light commercial multi-room projects. Multiple A.6x units can be combined for even larger deployments, or paired with A.3x and A.1x amplifiers to add further zones to an existing VSSL audio system.
