The Reference 7 Walnut Matt floorstanding speaker combines high-performance acoustic engineering with a warm and natural visual character. As the slimmest floorstanding model in the Reference series, it is designed to integrate effortlessly into living spaces while delivering powerful dynamics and controlled bass reproduction. Its compact form is supported by a precisely tuned cabinet and an integrated bass guide system, enabling impressive low-frequency depth despite its slim proportions.

Engineered as a 3-way loudspeaker system, the Reference 7 features two 154 mm woofers equipped with black ceramic tungsten diaphragms. These woofers provide fast impulse behavior and accurate bass control. A dedicated 154 mm BCT midrange driver reproduces mid frequencies with high resolution and natural tonal balance, ensuring clear vocals and realistic instrument reproduction. High frequencies are handled by a 25 mm BC tweeter with a black aluminum oxide ceramic cone, delivering detailed, smooth, and homogeneous treble output.

The drivers are mounted on a round baffle and integrated using precisely crafted, screwless adapter rings that enhance both acoustic performance and visual refinement. Asymmetrical wave guide construction improves sound dispersion, creating a consistent and balanced listening experience across the room. The crossover network utilizes hand-selected components with minimal tolerances to ensure stable impedance behavior and accurate impulse response.

The cabinet construction incorporates computer-optimized internal bracing and carefully defined damping materials to minimize resonances and suppress standing waves. Parallel cabinet surfaces are avoided to maintain acoustic accuracy. The Walnut Matt finish features a finely processed walnut veneer refined through special sanding techniques and matte lacquer treatment, resulting in a natural, fine-pored surface. Manufactured in Germany using advanced Canton technologies and precision craftsmanship, the Reference 7 Walnut Matt delivers long-lasting performance through premium materials and meticulous engineering.
