The JBL VLA-C125S-BK Dual 15-inch Subwoofer with Differential Drive® is a high-performance line array module designed for permanent installations and professional audio applications. It incorporates dual 15-inch neodymium Differential Drive® transducers, each with dual 3-inch voice coils, providing powerful low-frequency output with minimal distortion. The compact design combines lightweight advanced components with robust construction for reliable long-term use in indoor or outdoor settings.
Its enclosure is made from multi-layer reinforced fiberglass with internal 18 mm birch plywood bracing and a durable gelcoat finish. The front is protected by a powder-coated 14-gauge perforated steel grille with acoustically transparent cloth backing, a hydrophobic mesh layer, and a waterproof rail system. With an IP55 rating, the subwoofer is resistant to dust and water jets, ensuring dependable operation in outdoor environments.
The VLA-C125S-BK features a built-in rigging system with pre-defined inter-enclosure angles, allowing for easy modular line array assembly. Additional accessories such as bracket plates, pull-back bars, and optional cardioid kits expand configuration flexibility. Crown DCi series amplifiers with onboard DSP optimize system performance, delivering 127 dB continuous and 133 dB peak SPL. This makes the VLA-C125S-BK ideal for installations requiring high-output, controlled low-frequency reinforcement with scalable array capabilities.
