The JBL VTX S25 Dual 15-inch Cardioid Subwoofer is engineered for professional live sound and installation environments requiring high-output, ultra-low frequency performance. Designed for maximum versatility, the S25 can be deployed standalone, ground-stacked, or suspended in cardioid or mixed arrays alongside V20 modules, making it ideal for both touring productions and permanent installations.
The subwoofer features dual 2267H 15-inch Differential Drive transducers with dual 4-inch voice coils and neodymium magnet structures. These ultra-long excursion drivers deliver exceptional power handling, low distortion, and extended low-frequency response, providing consistent and impactful bass even in large venues. The system’s cardioid-arrayable design allows precise control of low-frequency directivity, reducing unwanted rear projection and optimizing audience coverage.
The enclosure is constructed from durable Finnish birch plywood with a black DuraFlex finish and incorporates ten integral recessed handles for secure handling and transport. Differential Drive technology ensures thermal efficiency, high output, and reliability in demanding environments. System integration is enhanced through JBL V5 processing and Crown I-Tech HD series amplifier compatibility, allowing full DSP control and optimized performance within mixed arrays.
Accessories such as the VTX V20 AF Array Frame provide flexible suspension and ground-stacking options, supporting up to 24 cabinets with multiple pick points for both front-to-back and side-by-side configurations.
