The JBL VTX M22 Dual 12-inch 2-Way Stage Monitor is designed for professional touring and high-profile broadcast applications that demand compact, low-profile, and high-output monitoring solutions. Its elegant trapezoidal enclosure houses advanced JBL transducers and precision waveguide technology to deliver controlled, uniform sound coverage across the stage area.
The low-frequency section is driven by dual 2262H 12-inch Differential Drive transducers with dual 3-inch voice coils and neodymium magnets, providing superior thermal efficiency, high power handling, and low distortion. High frequencies are reproduced by the D2430H D2 dual diaphragm, dual voice coil compression driver, ensuring detailed and dynamic high-frequency response.
A 60° x 60° high-frequency waveguide employing JBL’s patented Image Control Waveguide technology guarantees consistent tonal balance and precise coverage. The monitor angle of 30 degrees is optimized for on-stage use, allowing performers accurate monitoring without obstruction.
The system supports both single-channel passive operation and dual-channel bi-amplified configurations, providing flexibility in deployment and compatibility with Crown I-Tech HD series amplifiers. The enclosure, constructed from 11-ply Finnish birch plywood with a durable finish, ensures longevity and rugged performance in demanding environments. Powder-coated steel grille with acoustically transparent backing protects internal components while maintaining clarity.
