The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova II is the most compact floorstanding model in the Olympica Nova range, engineered to deliver refined high-fidelity sound in a smaller footprint. It reflects the brand’s Italian heritage by combining traditional craftsmanship with modern acoustic innovation to achieve a warm, musical, and highly engaging listening experience.

Its cabinet is shaped in a distinctive asymmetrical form inspired by a lute, designed to improve acoustic behavior and reduce dependency on room placement. By avoiding parallel internal surfaces, the structure effectively minimizes standing waves and internal resonances, resulting in clearer and more accurate sound reproduction.

The enclosure is built from multiple layers of natural wood, increasing rigidity and reducing unwanted vibrations. The top and front sections are also finished in real wood, complemented by an aluminum top plate that enhances both strength and visual refinement. Internal bracing elements further improve damping performance and structural stability.

The Stealth Ultraflex bass reflex system features a vertical slotted port with a specially shaped aluminum insert. This design optimizes airflow, significantly reducing turbulence and distortion while ensuring controlled and accurate bass response.

The speaker employs a three-way driver setup, including a 28 mm silk dome tweeter with a neodymium DAD motor system, a dedicated 6-inch dome midrange driver, and a 7.2-inch cellulose cone woofer. A carefully tuned crossover network operates between 250 Hz and 2,500 Hz, ensuring smooth tonal transitions and coherent sound output.
