The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova Center Channel is a high-end loudspeaker designed to anchor home theater systems with exceptional vocal accuracy and seamless sound integration. As part of the Olympica Nova series, it combines Italian artisanal craftsmanship with modern acoustic innovation to deliver natural, detailed, and highly intelligible audio reproduction.

The cabinet is built from eight layers of shaped and curved plywood, eliminating flat and parallel internal surfaces to reduce standing waves and unwanted resonances. This structural design improves acoustic clarity while preserving the signature asymmetrical lute-inspired form, which also enhances placement flexibility and room adaptability.

Its organic cabinet geometry follows smooth, flowing curves inspired by natural motion, improving airflow behavior and contributing to more transparent sound reproduction. The bass reflex system is fully integrated into the enclosure rather than externally added, allowing improved control, faster response, and cleaner low-frequency output.

The speaker uses a three-way driver configuration featuring a 28 mm silk dome tweeter with DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology and a neodymium magnetic system for accurate high-frequency detail. The midrange driver is derived from the Homage Tradition series and uses a cellulose composite cone to ensure natural vocal reproduction. The woofer incorporates a cellulose and syntactic foam sandwich structure, providing rigidity, reduced distortion, and controlled bass performance.

A Paracross Topology crossover network manages frequency distribution while minimizing interference and improving transient response. With crossover points set at 250 Hz and 1550 Hz, the system ensures smooth blending between drivers for consistent tonal balance.
