The Crown GEOLBOX EOL Box is a specialized monitoring device used in professional audio distribution systems to ensure the integrity of loudspeaker wiring through continuous end-of-line supervision. It is designed for systems that utilize a 20 kHz pilot tone to detect open or short circuit conditions across speaker lines.

Installed at the furthest point of a loudspeaker circuit, the EOL Box provides a reactive load at 20 kHz, enabling system controllers to measure changes in current behavior using HiQnet Audio Architect™ software. Any variation in the expected signal indicates a potential fault condition such as a cable break or short circuit, allowing rapid detection and system response.

The device supports selectable impedance loading of either 10 ohms or 5 ohms at 20 kHz via an external switch, offering flexibility for different system designs. It works in conjunction with Crown DCi Network, Dante, and USP4 CTs amplifier platforms, integrating seamlessly into advanced DSP-based audio architectures.

The EOL Box supports pilot tone injection through compatible amplifier systems, while allowing the signal to bypass internal processing where required for accurate monitoring. This ensures reliable supervision of loudspeaker lines in critical installations such as public address systems, commercial buildings, and large-scale audio networks.
