The dbx DriveRack 260 is a professional loudspeaker management system engineered to provide comprehensive signal processing, loudspeaker optimization, and system control for installed, portable, and touring audio applications. Built upon the proven DriveRack platform, the processor combines advanced DSP technologies with an intuitive user interface to deliver exceptional sound quality, flexible routing, and reliable loudspeaker protection. Designed for professional audio engineers and system integrators, it offers complete control over complex sound reinforcement systems while simplifying configuration through intelligent setup tools.
The processor features two independent input channels with a linkable 28-band graphic equalizer, industry-standard dbx stereo compression, Advanced Feedback Suppression (AFS™), automatic gain control, Auto-EQ, and the renowned dbx 120A Subharmonic Synthesizer for enhanced low-frequency performance. Flexible bandpass, crossover, and routing configurations allow precise system tuning for a wide range of loudspeaker systems. The six-output architecture incorporates parametric equalization, PeakStopPlus® limiting for loudspeaker protection, and alignment delay to optimize speaker performance and maintain consistent coverage throughout the listening area.
Designed for both live sound and fixed installations, the DriveRack 260 includes a full-time Real Time Analyzer (RTA), integrated pink noise generator, setup wizard with JBL loudspeaker and Crown amplifier tunings, and DriveWare™ graphical software for complete system configuration and monitoring. RS-232 connectivity, wall panel control inputs, and security lockout further enhance installation flexibility and system management. Powered by the high-performance dbx Type IV™ conversion system, the dbx DriveRack 260 delivers outstanding audio quality, extensive processing capabilities, and dependable operation for demanding professional sound reinforcement environments.
