The dbx DriveRack PA2 is a professional loudspeaker management system designed to optimize, protect, and enhance the performance of installed, portable, and touring sound systems. Positioned between the mixer and power amplifiers, it provides comprehensive signal processing to maximize loudspeaker performance while simplifying system setup through intelligent automation. Equipped with advanced DSP, updated setup wizards, and Ethernet connectivity, the DriveRack PA2 delivers professional-grade audio optimization with convenient control from Android®, iOS®, Mac®, and Windows® devices.
The processor features the latest AutoEQ™ algorithm, allowing rapid and highly accurate room equalization by automatically analyzing the acoustic environment with an RTA microphone. Unlike traditional calibration methods, AutoEQ™ completes system tuning quickly with minimal disruption to audiences. The enhanced Advanced Feedback Suppression (AFS™) algorithm continuously monitors the system, identifying and eliminating feedback before it becomes audible while preserving the natural tonal balance of the sound system. Integrated setup wizards further simplify configuration by guiding users through loudspeaker selection, level balancing, AutoEQ™, feedback suppression, and system optimization using regularly updated speaker tunings from major loudspeaker manufacturers.
Comprehensive input processing includes dbx compression, graphic equalization, eight-band parametric equalization, and Subharmonic Synthesis for enhanced low-frequency performance. Output processing provides flexible crossover configurations supporting full-range, two-way, and three-way loudspeaker systems, along with independent eight-band parametric equalizers, driver alignment delays, and dbx limiting for loudspeaker protection. High-performance dbx Type IV™ conversion, wide dynamic range, low distortion, and remote Ethernet control combine to make the dbx DriveRack PA2 a complete loudspeaker management solution for demanding professional audio environments.
