VSSL A.3x three-zone streaming amplifier

The VSSL A.3x is a rack-mountable, 6-channel streaming amplifier that connects up to three independent zones to a home or business audio system, giving each zone the freedom to play a different source or share the same music simultaneously across all three rooms.

Each zone is driven by a Class D amplifier delivering 50W per channel at 8 ohms or 75W per channel at 4 ohms, with a 7-band adjustable EQ available per zone for precise tonal shaping. A signal-to-noise ratio greater than 101dB and a frequency response of 20Hz to 50kHz ensure clean, detailed sound reproduction across the full audible range.

Connectivity includes three matrixed analogue inputs, one optical input, one IR input and one network input, alongside matrixed analogue and network outputs, giving installers flexibility to combine local sources with streamed content. Wireless streaming is supported through AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect and Amazon Alexa Cast, letting users play music from their preferred apps without a dedicated hub.

Housed in a compact 1U rack space, the A.3x can be stacked with additional A.3x or A.1x units to expand a system beyond three zones, or combined with the larger A.6x for large multi-room projects. Its Native Streaming technology and app-based control via the VSSL platform make it straightforward to install and manage across residential and light commercial installations.
